The charming XVII century Astrusi Theatre, which can seat up 200 spectators, is divided into the orchestra and thee order of upper-tier boxes. It’s normally used for theatrical performances, dance productions and musical concerts, but it is also available for meetings and seminars. The Theatre includes spacious rooms with four single changing rooms all furnished with showers, a large room for walk-ons, an ironing room, an office with phone-line, a room used for tastings or others such events, and an elegant coffee room (with tables, coffee machine, refrigerator, etc). It’s also equipped with new sound and light systems, a film projector, equipment for meetings (overhead projector, slide projector, slate blackboard, projector screen, etc). The Astrusi Theatre is requested more and more as the centre of important events for its prestigious setting, in the heart of Montalcino.
The Museums of Montalcino. Archaeological, Medieval, Modern collection. Unveiled in 1997, preserves with care a rich and prestigious collection, one of the most important in the district of Siena. Also the architectonic complex in which is guest, contributes to give fascination to Museum. The entrance, situated in the quit renaissance cloister covered by a modern glass structure, is suitable for temporary exhibitions, vernissages and classic concerts. The book-shop offers publications which deepen subjects connected with the museum and surroundings and also sell gadgets and museum reproductions.
The Convention Centre can seat up 600 people and includes a kitchen furnished with dishwasher, cutlery and dishes), tables, chairs and sound system. The structure is suitable for meeting with a large number of people, as well as for banquets, ceremonies and parties.
